Bachelor of Management Studies or BMS is an undergraduate program for management studies. The course allows students to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to assume management positions in a wide range of organizations. Management Studies program provides students with a solid foundation in the field of management and strategy designing. The electives allow students to develop deeper knowledge in specific areas of interest – finance, marketing, human resource management and management of global business. In addition to business management course, it will equip students to understand how organizations work, how they are managed, and sensitize students towards national and international environments. Students cantered learning focuses on skills and practices that enable lifelong learning and independent problem-solving.

Environmental Science: Theory into Practice (I) at the undergraduate level aims to empower students by providing in-depth knowledge on natural processes and resources that sustain life and govern the economy. It emphasizes understanding the consequences of human actions on the environment, global economy, and quality of human life. The course encourages the development of critical thinking for shaping strategies for environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, environmental equity, and sustainable development. Students will acquire values and attitudes towards solving current environmental problems and preventing future ones, adopting sustainability as a practice in life, society, and industry. Environmental Science: Theory into Practice-II is an undergraduate course designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of pressing environmental issues and the policies addressing them. The curriculum covers global environmental challenges such as climate change, global warming, ozone layer depletion, and acid rain, along with their impacts on human communities, biodiversity, and the global economy. Students explore international agreements like the Earth Summit, UNFCCC, and the Kyoto Protocols, and study India’s National Action Plan on Climate Change and environmental legislation. The course also delves into biodiversity, emphasizing India's rich biodiversity, the value of biodiversity, and conservation strategies. Additionally, it examines the relationship between human communities and the environment, discussing the impacts of population growth, environmental movements, and the role of environmental justice. Practical exercises and outreach activities are integral to the course, enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge through data analysis, surveys, simulations, project proposals, and field visits, thus bridging the gap between theory and practice.

This course aims to equip students with essential skills and knowledge, covering a range of topics that emphasize both theoretical and practical aspects. Objectives include developing a thorough grasp of the subject matter, enhancing analytical and critical thinking abilities, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, and fostering collaboration and communication skills through group projects and presentations. By the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of key concepts, analyze and solve complex problems, effectively communicate their ideas, and collaborate with peers to achieve common goals. Various assessments, such as exams, projects, and presentations, are used to evaluate students' understanding and application of the material.

This course focuses on enhancing students' proficiency and skills in the Hindi language and its technological applications. It aims to boost linguistic competence, encourage practical work through language labs, and highlight the interrelationship between Hindi language proficiency and technology. The course covers effective communication, the principles of linguistic communication, and various media. Learning outcomes include familiarizing students with correct pronunciation, creative and formal writing, and technical vocabulary, as well as understanding various aspects of linguistic communication and conversation. The course includes units on the use of Hindi in e-governance, the role of computers in promoting the national language, web design in Hindi, and the use of Unicode. Additionally, students will analyze prominent Hindi websites, list major Hindi journals online, and explore key software related to machine translation.

Ability Enhancement Course on Hindi-B: Formal Writing aims to enhance students' linguistic proficiency and writing skills, focusing on formal and professional Hindi. It is tailored for students who have studied Hindi up to the 10th grade. The course objectives include developing students' understanding of office and professional Hindi, highlighting the relationship between Hindi proficiency and technology, and familiarizing students with various practical tasks in the workplace. Additionally, the course emphasizes fieldwork-based analysis and writing using Hindi. Students will learn the specifics of office and professional Hindi, practical workplace knowledge, writing for the Right to Information, and creating and analyzing questionnaires for market surveys. They will also gain skills in preparing notes, drafts, reports, and summaries. The syllabus is divided into two units: the first focuses on developing writing proficiency over seven weeks, while the second covers types of formal writing over eight weeks. The course includes recommended readings and an assessment method comprising written exams and internal evaluations.

The course "Business Communication" is designed to train students in both written and oral communication within the corporate environment. It covers essential principles and techniques of business communication and the use of electronic media for communication. Students will learn the importance of effective communication in management, the skills required for effective writing, report writing, and summarizing annual reports. The course also delves into business and e-correspondence, including business letters, office memos, circulars, and email etiquettes. Additionally, it covers spoken English, oral presentations, negotiations, telephonic conversations, interviews, and group discussions. Practical exercises include summarizing annual reports, preparing presentations, participating in group discussions, and drafting business emails.
